  1. Only a few us
    Only a few us

Shut down the lighthouse to cause the shipwreck,
Only a few of us can hack the radar,
Betray their fellows or abuse the law,
Only a few of us will sharpen their claws.

Crack down the market and deny the clue,
Only a few of us are members of the crew,
Bribe a vote or break some bones,
Only a few of us will sit on a throne

    Chorus
Only a few of us possess the power
To ruin the world or make it
    Better

Sprinkle a virus then sell the vaccine,
Only a few of us can say it is clean,
Cook up some lies facing a camera,
Only a few of us can wield the media.

    Chorus

In the nightmare of your consciousness,
In the mirror of your distress,
You ask to yourself : what is this mess ?
Am I guilty ? Maybe yes...

For the harm we have done,
And the trouble and the pain,
    You wanna share the blame,
With those who lit the flame.

    Chorus

Promote the dope to the ones on the slope,
Only a few of us would deaden the hope,
Venture (GAMBLE) the future by pushing the yield,
Only a few of us will poison the fields.

    Chorus

  2. Blues Forever NYC
    Blues Forever NYC

When I was young, I had plenty of time,
I was in a hurry, burning up my life,
Staring at the comet, trying to reach my goal,
Focused on the target, they call heart and soul.

    But the blues is forever

When I was young, squeezing my guitar,
Stoned as a rock, I could shake you hard,
Flying through the clouds like an arrow in the wind,
Pollinating the spring with music from my strings.

    But the blues is forever

    Instum’

When you become a ghost, invisible to her,
And you’re listening deep, never getting an answer,
Blues’s the quest, blues’s the question,
You turn to the sky and then you ask Him why?

    Blues is forever

When I was young, I was Immortal,
Baking my bread with the flour and the leaven,
More than one nite I challenged the bottle
I could easily fly to the seventh heaven.

    Blues is for ever...

  3. Why (the dove and the raven)
Why (the dove and the raven)

    Walking down, downtown,
Don’t you see how, I'm going down,
The sky is blue, all over blue,
    I don’t know what I’m bumping into.

City seems quiet, as it can be,
Sounds of a riot echo in me,
    Some days are like another,
But these days are hard to suffer.

    Why? Why?
Do I see the dove in the raven?
    Why? Why?
Should we feel Love in Heaven?

    Walking down, downtown,
Don’t you see, I'm going down,
I make a stop at The Amsterdam coffee shop,
Where you can get a special ginger pop...
I’ve a small chat ’bout the weather,
Kind of talking with no matter,
    Two thousand one in September,
    We’re on Tuesday I remember.

    Chorus

Alarm bells and a smoke smell,
When the angels tumble in hell,
    White dust covers the screens,
My mind goes mad for what it means.

    Instrumental

    Walking down, downtown,
Don’t you see, I'm going down,
Days of despair far from peace,
Should we call HIM for some relief?

    Chorus

  4. The Alien NYC
    The Alien NYC

There’s an alien living in me,
Is he a friend or an enemy?
He’s a flame under the spoon, or the dark side of my moon,
Like a shadow in the house, when I sleep he rouses.

There’s an alien living in me,
Is he a friend or an enemy?
He’s got the password and the key, settles in my intimacy,
I feel his blood in my veins, he’s a hacker in my brain.

Though he drinks as much as I would,
He spies on the world under his hood,
When he lets me down, I pay the bill,
I hear him laughin’ like a devil.

There’s an alien living in me,
Is he a friend or an enemy?
He’s a spell from the Bayou, a pebble in the eddies,
He’s a mad innocent rat challenging birds of prey.

    Ooh ooh

When I hear things about me,
It seems so far from what I see,
So I think: it's all right,
    Must be gossip about him,
That double who troubles my mind,
Makes a fiction of my life.

There’s an alien living in me,
Is he a friend or an enemy?
There’s an alien, yes it’s true,
And you know what ? Maybe it is you...
  5. Inspiritation NYC
    Inspiritation NYC

Coming from nowhere, we’re going where
Across the sea or across the river
Over the mountains in a plane
On a raft, in the swirls

Coming from nowhere, we’re going where
When the hits of the stones weaken the hull of my doubts
Like a toad in the mud hoping for the kiss of a witch
I try to catch some words from the fire in a bush

    Tomorrow or another day
You d’ better find a way
    Tomorrow or another day
You’d better find the right one

Coming from nowhere we’re going where
Far from the streets of our native boroughs
Like the outer space cat hidden behind a cracked wall
I try to decipher the pharaoh’s scrawl

    refrain
Do you really want to know the truth
    About the youth
Keep on moving, grab the roots
    Of your

    “Inspiritation”,

    Instrumental

Coming from nowhere we’re going where
Among the remains of the past
I read another chapter of the book of the ages
    And it adds a blur
    To my mind....w

  6. Follow the line NYC
    Follow the line NYC

Follow the line of your freedom
Ride your bike or play your guitar loud
Follow the line in the middle of the road
Follow your heart in the middle of the night

Entre le haut et le bas, Crossing each other
Entre le chaud et le froid Between the borders
Entre le pour et le contre I read the signs
Entre ci, entre ça, in the book of my life

Follow the lines drawn in my hands
The rain makes me blind I feel so tired
    I’m coming home, it’s been a while
I miss you babe I miss your smile

    Refrain

Today the sun shines it’s gonna be allright
makes me feel good when love lights the sky.

    Refrain

Follow the line, follow your heart
Keep in your mind that song of desire

  7. Basement song NYC
    Basement song NYC

Doesn’t rain here, in the basement,
Where I’m playing in my mind
Amid a mess of cardboard boxes,
    Stacked against the wall. )2x

Arterie pipes run along the ceiling,
And the beat you can hear is the one of my heart.
Maybe I’m hiding in a burrow,
    Incubating my sorrow) 2x

Doesn’t rain here, dry and clean,
Haven’t seen a drop falling since May,
    Soil’s hard like concrete,
Now the seeds grow in my head ) 2x

    Children screaming in the courtyard,
Make me stumble in my memory,
When I was always frightened by things I couldn’t touch

I hear about a tropical storm coming,
The power has been cut off for a while,
I can see the light behind the bars,
    My file’s on a desk, nobody’s opened it.)2x

It seems they forgot me in a cell,
Like a straw dummy in the shade,
    I try to overstand,
What is happening in the upper world. ) 2x

  8. (blood on) The Treck
    (blood on) The Treck

One of these days the sun will fade,
One of these nights behind the shades,
Struggle for your life, the shooter says:
You’d better play the king of spade.

Rolling the dice, go for a job,
Pack up your case, fill your file,
Fasten your belt, enter the code,
You’re for a while on he road.

It can happen all of a sudden,
You might be thrown out of the game,
You’d better clean up your sins,
    Every slob’s story’s the same.

One of these days you’ll feel so brash,
One of these nights drive till you crash,
A monster crap will fill your glass,
And the wizard’s smoking your grass.

You’ll hear a fatwa on your ass,
    Coming from nowhere all around,
A lusty prince, born in the slums,
Will stake a crown to take you down.

One of these days the sun will fade
One of these nights behind the shades,
    You’d better watch your back,
Never know who trails along your trecks.

  9. Zooman
    Zooman

Sleeping on a bench or on a moldy cardboard bed,
Living by himself behind a broken fence,
Breathing the exhaust, hidden under a rock of cement,
Drinking ten gallons a day, he doesn’t care anymore

Flee dancing with the maggots, dead flies in a spider web,
Roaches in a matchbox, a limping pigeon and a rat,
The ant army and the bug tribes have captured his body
    So they call him
    Zooooooooooman )bis

He doesn’t was his cloth, to protect his little friends
As they protect him from the rest of the world,
Living in big cities, you smell his misery from miles around,
    Who would go near
    Zooooooooooman )bis

Who could imagine before the big crash, that he would drown so fast,
Piss in his pants and vomit on a shirt and a half eaten cheeseburger on his plate
How can a man believe that
    He’ll survive as nothing
    If he still feels something
    He feels like.....
    The Lord’s garbage.

    instr

His dry lizard skin, his dusty beard of ashes,
Zooman doesn’t talk anymore (hasn’t said a word for many years)
He’s got a plastic bag on his head, and he wears two different torn sneekers,
But Zooman never runs, never go anywhere,
    Zooooooooooman )bis

    +2
Who could imagine before the big crash, that he would drown so fast,
Disconnected fallen angel on the hopeless side,
How can a man believe that
    He’ll survive as nothing
    If he still feels something
    He feels like
    The Lord’s garbage.

  10. Brooklyn Nite Blues NYC
    Brooklyn Nite Blues NYC

    Brooklyn night Blues

It seems clean it seems quiet,
But what’s it mean on a Brooklyn night,
There’s a crack fight in the west side,
Someone cries in the Brooklyn night.

You seem clean, you seem quiet,
The rope is tight like one on a kite,
Your soul glides, you fly High,
Don’t you get wild in the Brooklyn night.

    The wind’s blowing, rain’s a falling,
The weather’s mad, in the Brooklyn night,
I drank some beers, I’ve had a bite,
Now I feel alright in the Brooklyn night.

I spoke tonight with a butterfly,
She’s leaving town back to the light,
She said, do’nt forget me, do what you might,
I’ll be back soon in the Brooklyn night.

  11. Be Yourself
    Be Yourself

Wrapped up in someone else's body,
She's been thrown off the suspended bridge of life,
    Thrown out, without a parachute,
She can fly, like a bird in a cage,
    She's a man,
    Or he’s a woman.
Chromosomes and jeans in her tatooed skin,
She's locked in the jail of her body’s scale
    Male or female
    She’s a choked prisonner in F.. a narrow cell
    She's a man
    Or he’s a woman

She can drive a truck, or carry heavy loads,
She cuts with a chainsaw and heals her injuries,
She can last long nights, looking for a girl,
Smoking, sniffing and fighting to kill her demons.

Fear and disgrace, looks like she’s been misplaced ,
She's very depressed due to her tests
She sees agohst in the hollow,
    Mumbling alone to the pillow
    She's a man
    Or he’s a woman

She can do her uptight dance, grooving on techno beats,
Headphones on her shoulders, running in the streets,
And the choir of good people of good intentions,
    Everybody sings:
    Be yourself!
    Be yourself!
Well she'd like to be herself
But she doesn't know who she is

    She's a man,
    Or he's a woman ,
    Anyway they are someone,
    Someone who loves women.
    Be yourself!
    Be yourself!
    Be yourself!
    Be yourself!
    ...
